  • Route Driver

    PRIMARY PURPOSE: Responsible for operating a company service truck and driving to various locations to service/pump/clean portable restrooms or holding tanks.


    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: include the following and other duties may be assigned as needed.


    1. Conduct daily pre-shift & post-shift vehicle inspection & report deficiencies to shop immediately. Also, report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions to the Operations Supervisor/Manager.


    2. Operate service truck to and from pre-designated work sites based on daily routing information.


    3. Maintain telephone contact with field supervisor and office to receive additional instructions, changes to work locations, etc.


    4. Service portable restrooms, holding tanks, sinks, etc., at various work sites by following the Company’s servicing guidelines.


    5. Restock paper products, hand sanitizer, soap, etc. in units being serviced.


    6. Clean interior and exterior of units and add chemical solution to portable restroom units.


    QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    HS Diploma or general education degree (GED)


    REASONING ABILITY:

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to deal with problems solving involving clients or situation where the client may be irate.


    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

    Valid Driver License (Class C).


    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand and walk, sometimes long distances. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally also stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move between 50 pounds and 150 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision & ability to focus.


    WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job


    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions (in some cases extreme heat/cold), moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. This position requires employee to travel regularly to off site work locations and as such use of vehicle will be provided.

  • Helper

    POSITION: Helper / Yard Associate


    HOURS: 6:00 a.m. – Route has been completed (10-13 hours per day)


    ROTATING WEEKENDS: Yes

     

    PRIMARY PURPOSE: Service/pumping/cleaning portable restrooms and/or holding tanks. You will also assist with supporting safe actions and operations of equipment.


    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  


    1. Assist with conducting daily pre-shift & post-shift vehicle inspection & report deficiencies to shop immediately. Also, report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions to the Office/Operations Supervisor/Manager. 

    2. Assist with maintaining telephone with Operations Coordinators to receive additional instructions, changes to work locations, etc. 

    3. Service portable restrooms, holding tanks, sinks, showers, etc., at various work sites by following the Company's servicing guidelines. 

    4. Restock paper products, hand sanitizer, soap, etc. in units being serviced. 

    5. Clean interior and exterior of units and add chemical solution to portable restroom units. 

    6. Follow all established safety rules & regulations. 

    7. Provide support to Service Technician to ensure safe operation of the service truck in the plants and refineries (example: spotter when backing up, etc.) 

    8. Special/Other projects as assigned by management.

  • Operations Coordinator

    POSITION: Operations Coordinator 


    Hours: Monday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.


    Hours: Tuesday – Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.


    ROTATING WEEKENDS: None

     

    PRIMARY PURPOSE: Coordinates daily transportation activity to ensure service & delivery goals are achieved in a designated time frame.

     

    Description:

    The primary responsibility is to exceed the expectations of internal and external clients by providing exceptional service and support. As the first point of contact for many of our customers, vendors, professionalism is key in this high volume, fast paced environment.

     

     

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  include the following and other duties may be assigned as needed.

     

    1. Answer and appropriately direct inbound customer service calls and emails regarding rental termination requests, equipment service requests, rental requests, billing inquiries, escalations, etc.

    2. Communicates information and instructions to drivers (schedules, route changes, road conditions, accidents, emergencies, etc.) informing them of a variety of situations that may impact their scheduled services or deliveries.

    3. Handles all customer inbound, and updates clients on expected delivery/service times.  Makes outgoing calls to customers regarding locked gates, missed services, collection etc.

    4. Key Performance Standards:

    o 90% daily phone service levels

    o Effective problem resolution

    o Efficient and accurate execution of reservations, quotes, and pick-up tickets

    o Timely and accurate submission of individual reports

    5. Keeps Operations Manager updated on issues and resolution of issues.

    6. Supports drivers during reported emergencies and provides appropriate resources to assist with issues.

    7. Works with clients to scheduling deliveries or services.

    8. Review driver manifests at end of day to ensure that pencil notes have been documented and works with drivers to capture delivery/service information.

    9. Creates and modifies various documents using Microsoft Office. 

    10. Special/Other projects as assigned by management.

RENTAL SERVICES PROVIDED

PORTABLE RESTROOMS


Having a restroom on-site is essential, and

the cleanliness of that restroom should be

as well. All worksites are recommended

to observe the following practices:

-> “At least one portable restroom for every eight workers on site.”

-> Units placed with spacing to accommodate

social distancing of at least 6 feet.

-> A minimum of twice-weekly service from

your portable sanitation provider.

-> Disinfecting the unit's high-touch surfaces

(such as door handles, locks, and

toilet seats) throughout the day.


HOLDING TANKS


Having a restroom on-site is essential, and

the cleanliness of that restroom should be

as well. All worksites are recommended

to observe the following practices:

PolyPortables' 250gallon rotationally molded

polyethlene holding tank works well

in many applications. It is most often used

under on-site office trailers and has also been 

used for temporary waste storage in other

locations. The low profile tank has dimensions

of 6' x 3' 11 1/2" x 18".

Four 3" clean-out ports are typically installed on each 

tank, but custom tanks with as few as two ports

maybe produced. A uni-seal grommet and 

threaded PVC connector are inserted in each

port. Each tank weighs 100lbs.
